REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: The SAISA North Points Coastal # 8 Regatta was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina on Saturday, February 22, 2014. The weather could not have been more cooperative! Temperature was in the 60's, cloudy at the start, but soon cleared. Wind was out of the north at 6-8 knots in the morning, then went to a dead calm at about noon giving everyone a break for lunch, but 45 minutes later a sea breeze out of the southeast at 6-8 knots came up and held for the rest of the afternoon. Eleven schools participated, and eight races in each division were completed. There was only one protest, which was withdrawn. Congratulations to Wando, taking first place in both divisions!
