Saturday's South Points #2 Regatta took place under sunny skies with variable winds from 7 to 10 knots. In all, Race Committee managed 12 complete races, 6 in each of the A and B divisions. Starts were tight and the finishes close. As the host of the regatta, I was impressed with all the competitors. They showed care for the host property, cleaned up after themselves, took care and assisted with the boats that belonged to other teams, and were polite and appreciative of our volunteers. Coaches and parents, you should be proud.
Students - keep the great attitude, it shines bright to those watching. Whether your team placed at the top or the bottom, your participation and good attitude are the breeding ground for future success. Many thanks to the USSCMC volunteers who made the day a big success. With bow numbers washing off the boats, Race Committee had their hands full. Thank you Race Committee for running great races. Thank you teams, for participating in South Point #2 at the USSCMC.
