On Saturday, October 26, 15 teams participated in the Coastal #4 Regatta held by Charleston Community Sailing and James Island Yacht Club. At the 9am skippers meeting everyone was bundled up with the temperature at 48 degrees with 5-10 knots of breeze and lots of sunshine. All in all, it was gorgeous day on the water but by 2:30pm the lack of breeze forced the Race Committee to postpone. The event was called after waiting for wind and we were lucky to get 8 races off. Thanks to all of the volunteers on & off the water and to James Island Yacht Club for their hospitality!
